AIRE Ancient Baths occupies a 23,000-square-foot Edwardian Classicism building near Front Street West that once served as the office and warehouse of the Copp Clark publishing company, built in 1912. The historic shell now houses a thermal baths spa, one of several AIRE locations worldwide, in Old Toronto.

The core experience is a self-paced circuit through eight baths set at different temperatures, built around the idea of contrast therapy — moving between warm and cool water to ease tension and improve circulation. A dry sauna and steam room round out the circuit, and the space is kept dim and quiet, lit by candles rather than overhead lighting. Every booked experience includes this bath tour; on top of it, the spa offers eight treatments, including massages and rituals, plus a signature Wellness Experience Digital Detox session. Couples treatments are available for those booking together.

There's no walk-in day pass here — access is by reservation only, and the space is for adults. English is the language of service. If arriving by car, reception can arrange a discounted parking rate ($10 CAD for four hours) at Parking Indigo Toronto Portland Commons on Front Street West; several streetcar stops are also within walking distance.

Opening hours run from 9am to 10pm Friday through Sunday and 10am to 10pm Monday through Thursday, though the last session to start is typically scheduled ahead of closing, so it's worth confirming exact entry cutoffs when booking.
