Arinya Retreat Daylesford

Arinya Retreat is a whole-property rental rather than a walk-in spa. The rammed-earth house sits inside Hepburn Regional Park, about ten minutes from Daylesford and Hepburn Springs and ninety minutes from Melbourne, down an unsealed track. Four bedrooms sleep up to ten adults across 250 square metres, and the booking always covers the entire house rather than individual rooms.

Treatments happen in the house itself and are arranged alongside a stay rather than sold as standalone day passes. Eight treatments are on offer, including the Arinya Signature Treatment (relaxation massage, botanical facial and foot massage) at $180 for an hour or $220 for ninety minutes, plus hot stone, remedial, deep tissue, Lomi Lomi and a botanical facial. Outdoor yoga runs September to March for two to four people, with sound or art therapy sometimes available. A mineral spring area sits on the property itself, and Daylesford's own mineral springs are a short drive away.

The minimum stay is two nights on every date. Check-in is self-service from 2pm via a lockbox, check-out is 10am, and the property comes with a fully equipped kitchen, an open-fire lounge, a spa bath, air conditioning, central heating, WiFi and on-site parking. An artisan hamper with local wine, mineral water and chocolates is included on arrival. Packages bundle accommodation, massages and dining — an all-inclusive two-night stay for two is $1,350, and a seven-guest group package with meals, a massage each and a yoga class runs $4,950. Treatments are paid in cash or by transfer directly to the therapist on the day, and the venue is adults-only.
