Bahía Wellness Retreat sits inside the Bahía del Duque hotel in Costa Adeje, on Tenerife's southern coast, built around the idea of pairing the Atlantic Ocean with the island's sun. The space is organized as a self-contained wellness universe rather than a single treatment room, combining thalassotherapy, Thai-style treatments, fitness and physiotherapy under one roof.
The centerpiece is an outdoor vitality pool filled with seawater drawn directly from the Atlantic, with air beds, cervical jets, swan-neck jets and an ice well. This connects to a broader outdoor thalassotherapy circuit, plus a hammam, saunas, Scottish showers, a cold-water pool and an outdoor solarium with shaded relaxation areas.
Treatment space is extensive: 20 indoor treatment cabins, five outdoor cabanas, four Thai Room cabins, three thalassotherapy rooms and one VIP suite for private sessions. A lunch service with snacks and healthy drinks is available alongside the treatments. Beyond the wet areas, there's a physiotherapy section, a Kinesis/Pilates/yoga studio, a gym and a Beauty Studio covering hairdressing, aesthetics, makeup, manicure and pedicure, set in a bright room overlooking the gardens.
The retreat runs daily from 10:00 to 18:00. Minimum age for the circuit is 16. Day passes are offered to guests not staying at the hotel, with thalassotherapy circuit access sold as a 180-minute block, either a morning slot (11:00–14:00) or an afternoon slot (15:00–18:00). Staff work in Spanish, English, French, German and Russian, and pricing sits in the upscale tier, with specific day-pass rates to be confirmed directly with the spa.
