This spa inside the Eurostars Isla de la Toja hotel splits into two parts: the Club Termal, a seawater circuit, and the Balneario, where mineral-medicinal water from La Toja's springs is used for baths and treatments. The water is described as hypertermal and chlorinated-sodic, rich in sulfates, fluoride, calcium, iron and magnesium, and is traditionally associated with joint, skin and respiratory conditions.
The Club Termal includes an indoor heated pool with swan necks, counter-current jets and bubble beds, plus a hydromassage mini-pool, contrast pool, steam room, Finnish sauna, ice fountain and relaxation lounge. Sessions in the circuit run a maximum of 90 minutes. The Balneario side adds mineral-water baths, inhalations, jet showers, massage cabins, wrap cabins and a beauty area, with treatments best booked ahead since availability is limited.
It's open to both hotel guests and outside visitors on a day-pass basis, and welcomes families - children from age 2 can enter the Club Termal with an adult and must wear a swim diaper if under 4, though the gym stays off-limits under 16 and most cabin treatments are for adults. Swimsuit, flip-flops and a swim cap are required in the thermal circuit. Hours run roughly 10:00-14:00 and 16:00-21:00 most days, stretching to midnight on Friday and Saturday, with a dedicated children's window in the mornings and late afternoons. Staff speak a wide range of languages, useful for the international crowd that passes through this stretch of Galician coast.
