Chochołowskie Termy bills itself as the biggest thermal bath complex in the Podhale region, spreading close to 4,500 square meters of water across 52 pools. The water draws on local mineral springs, and alongside the main pool zone there's a separate therapeutic area with raw sulphide and brine water aimed at easing rheumatic and skin complaints.
The pool zone itself is built for a full day out: geysers, a fast-moving "river" current, a wave pool, hydromassage stations, a sandy beach area, and an outdoor water playground that runs in summer. More active visitors can play water volleyball or basketball, swim laps in the sports pool, or take on the drop slide and two tube slides. A separate saunarium — described as the largest in Podhale — adds a mezzanine relaxation room, a salt chamber, and a large view terrace.
Beyond the water, the complex runs a spa section, a normobaric (pressure chamber) therapy offering, a restaurant, and overnight accommodation under its "Termalne Spanie" (thermal sleeping) package, which bundles a stay with access to the pools, saunarium, and spa. Staff work in Polish, English, and Slovak, and the place is open to day visitors as well as overnight guests — this isn't a hotel-only facility. It's positioned as suitable for couples, families with kids, and groups of friends alike.
Hours run long: 9am to 11pm on Fridays and weekends, and 9am to 10pm the rest of the week, giving plenty of room for either a quick soak or a full day in the water.
