Hajdúszoboszló Spa is a medical thermal bathhouse built around mineral-rich iodine, bromine and salt water drawn from local springs. Inside the main hall, three covered pools run at 32, 36 and 38°C, with a gallery level, a ground-floor relaxation area with a tea room overlooking the adjoining beach bath, and a rooftop sun terrace. A separate enclosed courtyard holds four open-air pools at graduated temperatures from 32 to 38°C, ringed by wide walkways.
The medical side of the building includes physician's offices, a physiotherapy room, tangentor treatment rooms, a sauna, weight baths, mud wraps and tub baths on the ground floor, plus massage rooms, electrotherapy and lounges upstairs — the upper wing mainly serves guests of the neighboring Aqua-Sol hotel. Nine treatment types are on offer in total. The water is used primarily for chronic musculoskeletal and degenerative joint conditions, with reported benefit also for post-surgical and neurological recovery, skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis, and certain gynecological inflammations.
One ticket covers both the medical bath and the adjoining strand (beach) bath, so visitors can move freely between the two sections. A day pass is available and the spa is classed as budget-friendly. It's open every day from 7:00 to 19:00, and staff can communicate in Hungarian, English, German, Polish, Russian, Romanian, Ukrainian, Czech and Slovak. The sauna and the medical bathing areas aren't recommended for children under 14, since both put strain on circulation and heart function.
