Idroterme Olympus sits right on Maronti beach in Barano d'Ischia, a thermal park that has been run by the same family since 1973. The draw is the water: three pools of naturally sulfurous thermal water, each kept at a different temperature, from a hot jacuzzi-style pool for sore muscles to a larger, cooler pool with views toward Sant'Angelo and a milder family pool for kids. A sauna fed by natural thermal water rounds out the bathing side.

Guests have direct access to Maronti beach via a private path down from the park, and there's a panoramic restaurant serving Ischitana cuisine for lunch between soaks. Showers and changing cabins are on site. Staff work in Italian, English and German.

A treatments department offers a handful of services: oil massages in 40- or 50-minute sessions, inhalation and aerosol therapy, and a medical consultation. Day-pass pricing covers a full day (9:00–19:00), a half-day session (morning or afternoon), or a discounted happy-hour slot from 17:00 to 18:00; multi-visit packages and resident rates are also available. The high season runs from late July through early September, with slightly higher resident pricing in that window.

The park is about 8 km from Ischia Porto and 12 km from Casamicciola. The EAV bus line 175 runs from Ischia Porto to the Maronti terminus, a short walk from the entrance; taxis and microtaxis also serve the route. Drivers can park in public spaces or nearby private lots close to the beach. Idroterme Olympus is set up for groups and families, and also hosts private events like weddings and birthdays on its seafront terrace.
