The Lumen Signature Ritual

Lumen Headspa is a day spa near Seattle that narrows its focus to one thing: the head. Rather than offering body massages or facials as the main draw, treatments here center on scalp cleansing, hair care, and the neck and shoulders, with a signature water-dome setup (Hydro Dome Therapy and Herbal Water Dome) used to rinse and relax clients mid-session.

Three packages structure the visit. The Basic Headspa ($75) covers a double shampoo, conditioning, and a blow-out or style. The Deluxe Headspa ($90) adds a shoulder, neck, head, and arm massage, scalp exfoliation, a turn under the herbal water dome, a hot steamer, and a hair mask. The Luxury Headspa, also called the Lumen Signature Ritual, runs $120 and folds in everything from the Deluxe tier plus facial cleansing, a Gua Sha face massage, and a hydrating sheet mask.

The spa operates out of a space in Renton with a relaxation lounge for winding down before or after treatment. It's set up for both solo visits and couples booking together. Walk-ins are accepted, though reservations are generally required to guarantee a slot, so calling ahead is the safer bet, especially for the longer Luxury treatment.

Hours run the same every day of the week, 10am to 7pm, which makes it fairly easy to fit in on a weekday evening or weekend afternoon. With three treatment tiers and a moderate price point, Lumen positions itself as a focused, repeatable stop for scalp maintenance rather than a full spa-day destination.
