Magaly Spa

Magaly Spa sits on Castor Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia and has operated since 2008. It's less a soak-and-relax spot and more a treatment-driven clinic-spa: the menu centers on skin care (deep facial, basic facial, microdermabrasion, dermapen, dermaplaning, Hydrafacial, acne treatment) and a range of massage styles, including relaxing, deep tissue, post-surgical, cellulite and sculpting massage.

The signature offering is Venus Legacy, a non-invasive device used for non-surgical body contouring, cellulite reduction, skin tightening and wrinkle reduction. The spa also runs Venus Bliss for similar body-aesthetic needs. Alongside treatments, the facility includes a sauna, steam room and thermal pool, and the on-site shop sells shapewear (fajas) and recovery boards for post-treatment use.

It's a moderate-priced day spa with parking on site. Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are required for treatments, so calling ahead makes sense if you want a specific service or time slot. Hours run 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 4pm Saturday; it's closed Sundays.

This isn't a hammam-style bathhouse experience built around hours of lounging — the sauna, steam and pool read more as complements to the aesthetic and massage services than the main draw. If body contouring, facials or therapeutic massage are what you're after, this is a straightforward, service-focused option in the neighborhood.
