Mountain Body and Mind is a woman-owned massage studio and day spa on Main Street in Red River, founded in 2013 by Joy Stromberg. The focus is bodywork and skincare rather than a bathing or wet-area experience: massage, structural integration, craniosacral work, facials, waxing, lash services, and Reiki sessions make up the four core treatment types offered.

The small team includes a structural integrator, a relaxation therapist and Reiki practitioner, a massage therapist trained in Swedish, prenatal and Thai techniques, and an esthetician handling facials and waxing. Couples treatments are available for those wanting a shared session, and the studio welcomes families rather than restricting access by age.

A Wellness Gift Shop at the front of the space sells drinks, small apothecary items, jewelry and work from local artists, which is worth a look before or after a treatment. There's no drop-in access or day pass here — everything runs on reservation, and the studio suggests booking several days ahead since slots fill up, especially in summer.

Summer hours run daily from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm, with the studio closed on Tuesdays (Thursday hours run shorter, until 5 pm). It's a modest, appointment-based operation rather than a resort-style facility, geared toward visitors and locals looking for a solid massage or facial while in town.
