My Spa Joy

My Spa Joy is a day spa on West Alabama Street in Montrose, a short drive from Midtown, River Oaks and downtown Houston. The seven treatments on offer cover massage (deep tissue, hot stone, Swedish, prenatal, sciatica-focused and sports, in 60, 75, 90 and 120-minute sessions), consultation-led facials, HydraFacial, dermaplaning, chemical peels and body scrubs. Licensed, Texas-certified therapists handle the sessions, and skincare work draws on professional lines including Circadia, SkinBetter Science and GlyMed+.

Beyond single treatments, services are bundled into packages. The Spa Rave pairs a full body scrub, a 60-minute massage and a facial over roughly two hours and 45 minutes. The Pampered package is built for two, with 90-minute massages and Vitamin C facials for each person. A birthday package adds a HydraFacial, a body scrub and a 90-minute massage for a full celebration day. Couples treatments are available on their own too, and the space can be booked out for larger groups - birthdays, bridal parties or just a Saturday with friends.

Walk-ins are welcome alongside online booking, and there's no day-pass or membership system here - this is an appointment-based treatment spa rather than a facility for open-ended lounging. It's open daily, roughly 10:30am to 8pm most days and until 6pm on Sundays, with street and nearby parking available. Pricing sits in the moderate range for Houston day spas.
