One Spa sits on Conference Square in Edinburgh's city centre, an upscale, adults-only day spa built around a rooftop Hydropool and a dedicated thermal suite. The suite combines a Himalayan Dry Salt Room, Crystal Steam Room and Rock Sauna, alongside a pool, cold plunge, fitness centre and relaxation lounge. Walk-ins and day passes are both options, suited to solo visitors and couples.
The signature circuit, Escape at One, takes guests through the heat and water experiences, with treatments available through ESPA. Newer additions include the Rasul Mud Bothy, a mud-based ritual, and Reformer at One Spa, a Pilates studio set apart from the main suite. NOW by One Spa offers manicures and pedicures using OPI polish for a shorter visit.
One Spa Café serves food from 9am to 4pm, with main meals from 12.30pm, giving guests somewhere to break up a day that mixes gym, spa and treatments. The spa itself runs 6.30am to 10pm, seven days a week.
Worth noting: a new steam room and cold room installation currently limits midweek access to the thermal suite, though the rooftop Hydropool, 19m swimming pool, fitness centre and parts of Escape at One remain open. Saturdays and Sundays run as normal, apart from the steam room and laconium.
