Rio Spa

Rio Spa sits on the fifth floor of a building on Av. Atlântica in Copacabana, with treatments built around Brazilian music and geography rather than the usual spa-menu language. Rituals carry names like Spa Garota do Rio, Spa Samba do Mar and Spa Leblon Lifestyle, each bundling a foot soak, body scrub, massage and other steps into sessions that run roughly 1.5 to 3 hours.

The menu covers eight treatments in total, including a couples option, Spa Duplo "Pela Luz dos Olhos Teus," and immersion baths that can be booked for one person or two. The signature package is called Spa Rosa Morena. Products are described as natural and organic. There's a relaxation lounge on site for use between or after treatments.

This is a day spa, not a hotel spa or thermal bath complex, so the focus is treatment menus rather than pools or saunas. It's set up for both solo visitors and couples, and walk-ins are accepted alongside bookings, with day passes available. Day Spa packages seen on the official shop range from around R$230 for a 30-minute relaxing massage up to R$930 for the three-hour Leblon Lifestyle ritual; couples packages run higher, such as R$810 for the 90-minute Pela Luz dos Olhos Teus duo spa.

Hours run 10am to 6pm Monday through Saturday, with a shorter Sunday schedule from 10am to 4pm. The location, between Copacabana and Ipanema in Rio's zona sul, makes it a convenient stop for a beach day broken up with a few hours of treatment.
