Spa at the Lake sits on the first floor of the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington in Renton, just outside Seattle, overlooking the lakefront. It's a hotel day spa open to both hotel guests and locals, built around a small menu of three treatment categories: facials, massages and body treatments, plus à la carte add-ons like dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and brow shaping.
Booking ahead is required rather than walking in, and arriving about five minutes early to fill out a wellness form is standard practice here. Guests who book a treatment get access to the locker rooms and can use the indoor pool, hot tub, steam room and the lakeside StayFit gym before or after their service. Parking is complimentary for four hours when you're using the spa facilities.
The spa is adults-only, with a minimum age of 18 for all services and amenities, and couples' massages can be arranged by calling or emailing ahead. Cancellations need 48 hours' notice to avoid a fee, and a 20% gratuity is automatically added to treatments. There's no day-pass option for just using the pool, hot tub or steam room on their own — access to those comes bundled with a booked service, or through a separate wellness membership that includes extended hours and discounts on spa treatments, dining and retail.
Military, veterans, nurses, first responders, teachers and students get 10% off services daily with valid ID, which is worth factoring in if you fall into one of those categories.
