SPA BEERLAND Franzensbad is a beer-bath spa set in a renovated building about 200 meters from the town's well-known Little Francis statue, in Františkovy Lázně, a spa town with UNESCO World Heritage status. The treatment centers on soaking in large, handmade oak tubs filled with hop extracts, brewer's yeast and malt used in Krušovice beer brewing. The hop oils and yeast are meant to work on the skin and support relaxation, and the whole room, which fits up to four people across two tubs, is booked privately rather than shared with strangers.

After the bath, guests move to a bed made of real wheat straw, grown on the spa's own organic fields, to rest near an open fireplace. Fresh homemade beer bread is served during this recovery period, and unlimited light and dark Krušovice beer is included throughout the visit, not just during the bath itself. The room itself has handcrafted stained-glass windows, giving it a distinct look compared to a standard treatment space.

The spa is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00. It welcomes families and groups as well as couples, with a minimum age of 3, so this isn't strictly an adults-only retreat. Reservations are required, though walk-ins are accommodated when space allows. Parking is available directly in front of the building. A café or restaurant element is also part of the amenities, alongside a relaxation lounge and hot tub. The location puts it within walking distance of the town's parks, in a spa destination with a long history tied to figures like Goethe and Kafka.
