Spa Irma

Spa Irma sits inside the Thermia Palace complex on Kúpeľný ostrov, Piešťany's spa island, and functions as both a medical spa and a thermal bathhouse. The centerpiece is a pair of historic basins: the Bahnisko mud pool (39–40°C) and the Zrkadlisko thermal pool (38–39°C), both split into separate sections for men and women, alongside an outdoor thermal relaxation pool, an indoor thermal pool, whirlpools and a sauna world with steam, Finnish and infrared saunas plus experience showers and a tepidarium.

Beyond soaking, the facility runs a full balneotherapy program across more than sixty treatments, with dedicated rooms for massage, mud wraps, physiotherapy, electrotherapy, phototherapy/CO2, inhalation, oxygen therapy and beauty treatments, plus a fitness room and gym. This is a reservation-based operation rather than a drop-in pool day: guests check in fifteen minutes before their booked procedure at the relevant reception (Irma, Napoleon/Pro Patria or Balnea), and late arrival forfeits the slot.

Dress code depends on the pool. Shared sessions in the Bahnisko and Zrkadlisko come with a provided spa skirt, while the separated single-sex sessions allow going without clothing or wearing the skirt; a towel is supplied as a sheet. Showering before entering any pool is required, and non-slip footwear is recommended. The site asks guests not to bring valuables, to switch off phones during treatments, and to skip procedures while under the influence of alcohol or when feeling acutely unwell. Access is adults only.
