Spa Terra sits underground in a wine cave at the Meritage Resort in Napa, a setting that shapes most of what happens here. The signature options are a cave-inspired hot stone massage and a hydrating body wrap, alongside facials that range from organic botanical treatments to a multi-modality aesthetic device. Massages, body treatments and facials are all on the menu, with couples and small-group bookings available (couples appointments must be arranged by phone).

A day here can extend well beyond the treatment room. Guests get all-day access to the property, so it's possible to start with a guided yoga class or a steam room session, have the treatment itself, then move to the adult pool with its vineyard views and a soak in the hot tub. Sauna and steam facilities round out the amenities. This is an 18-and-over spa, and the resort operates cashless, accepting cards only.

Booking ahead is strongly advised, both to lock in a preferred time and therapist and because a credit card is required to guarantee any service. Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before a scheduled treatment; late arrivals are shortened to fit the remaining slot but still billed in full. Cancellations need 24-hour notice or the full service cost applies. Valet parking is complimentary, and treatment prices already include a 22% service charge split between staff. Hours run 8am to 6pm Friday through Sunday and 9am to 6pm Monday through Thursday.
