Good for
Couples

Spring Street Inn is a historic inn dating to 1889, set directly across from Hot Springs National Park and a five-minute walk from the old Bath House Row. It functions more like a couples-focused B&B with thermal-water amenities than a traditional day spa: five guestrooms split between the main house and an adjacent building, each with a queen bed and a whirlpool bath built for two, fed by the area's hot water supply.

The main house holds three upstairs guestrooms along with a downstairs parlor and dining room, plus porches, a gazebo and gardens outside. The two rooms next door can be taken on either floor and joined together for families, with private entrances and patios, and winter fireplaces in some rooms. On-site parking includes space for boats.

Location is the other draw. The inn sits one block from the Hot Springs Convention Center and Bank OZK Arena, and hiking trails into the surrounding national forest start right at the front gate, including access to the 14 miles of paths on Hot Springs Mountain. The Grand Promenade, Arlington Park and the historic bathhouses themselves are a one- to three-block walk away, and a paved six-mile greenway connects into the area for biking.

Access is for registered guests with a reservation, and gift certificates are sold year-round. It's been used as a filming location for a PBS American Experience documentary on Clinton and a TLC special, and was named among Arkansas's best couples' lodgings by AmericanTowns in 2018.

Good to know

Do I need a reservation to use the whirlpool baths?
Yes, access is limited to hotel guests with a reservation, and the whirlpool tubs are part of the guestrooms rather than a separate day-use facility.
How many guestrooms does the inn have?
There are five total: three upstairs queen rooms in the main house and two more in an adjacent building that can be combined for families.
What's within walking distance?
Historic Bath House Row and the National Park are about a five-minute walk away, and the Convention Center and Bank OZK Arena are one block from the inn.
What are the check-in or front desk hours?
Listed hours run 9am to 7pm every day; confirm actual check-in times directly with the inn.
Is this a traditional spa with communal pools?
No, it's a historic bed-and-breakfast where each room has its own whirlpool bath for two rather than shared thermal pools.
