Sunscape Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa sits on the sand in the Zona Hotelera, a short drive from both the airport and downtown's Malecón. It's built around the brand's Unlimited-Fun all-inclusive model: six dining outlets from a grill to à la carte restaurants, four bars, and a steady rotation of daily and nightly activities like beach volleyball, yoga, mini-golf and live music, plus a waterpark and seasonal turtle-release program.

The property leans heavily family-friendly, with an Explorer's Club for kids 3-12, a Core Zone teen club, and rooms designed with bunk beds. Adults looking for quieter space can upgrade to Sun Club access, which includes a private lounge and enhanced amenities separate from the main resort areas.

The on-site Sunscape Spa is listed as opening soon, with a planned menu covering massages, facials, body scrubs, reflexology, manicures, pedicures, hair styling and makeup application. As with most resort spas, access is limited to hotel guests rather than outside day-pass visitors.

Rooms use a bracelet system that doubles as the room key, and each room comes with two complimentary Wi-Fi codes for one device each; extra devices cost more. There's no need to book ahead for the resort's restaurants. Given the beachfront setting on Banderas Bay and proximity to golf courses, whale watching and dolphin swims nearby, this is a resort built for a full vacation stay rather than a quick spa visit, with the spa itself still ramping up its offerings.
