Terme di Roma - Acque Albule

Terme di Roma - Acque Albule is a thermal bathing establishment at Tivoli Terme, about 20 minutes outside Rome, built around sulfur water drawn from the Regina and Colonnelle springs at a constant 23.4°C. The site has a long history as a thermal cure location and today combines medically supervised treatments with a wellness spa circuit.

The spa side, called Vie del Benessere, centers on a heated indoor sulfur thermal pool, along with sauna, steam room (bagno turco), Kneipp tubs, a vascular circuit, hydromassage points, a tisane room, and relaxation areas. Entry to this circuit is by reservation, and it can also be booked as a Day SPA package that includes treatments. This indoor pool and spa area stays open year-round, regardless of season.

Separately, the facility runs thermal cures affiliated with Italy's national health service (SSN), covering inhalation therapy, mud and balneotherapy, and related treatments, with on-site doctors and an admission visit required before starting a cycle (typically 12 sessions, Monday to Saturday, with a doctor's prescription). This is distinct from the wellness spa visit and follows its own access process.

In summer, the complex also opens an outdoor pool park spanning 6,500 square meters across four sulfur-water pools, with separate zones for adults and children, sun terraces, and a bar; this seasonal section is closed outside the summer months, while the indoor spa pool remains accessible all year.

The venue offers on-site parking, and staff speak Italian, English, and French. Day passes are available for the wellness spa circuit, and it operates independently of hotel stays, so outside guests can book directly.
