This is the spa at The Royal Crescent hotel, set in an outdoor garden and an indoor "inner sanctum" of exposed stone and calm water. Facilities cover a pool, gym, sauna, steam room and hot tub, and day passes are available alongside hotel stays, so it works as a stand-alone day-spa visit as well as a hotel add-on.

Treatments run through GROUND, a natural vegan skincare line, and Medik8 for more targeted skin results. The signature option right now is GROUND's Face & Back Experience, a facial-and-massage combination aimed at easing tension and nourishing the skin, currently discounted to £100 (usually £135) for Monday-to-Thursday bookings made online, subject to availability and a seasonal end date.

Access is restricted to adults 16 and over, though 16- and 17-year-olds can book a 30-minute facial or a manicure/pedicure if accompanied by an adult. Valet parking is offered, and the spa operates in English. Hours run 7am to 8pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 8pm on weekends, with a reservation generally expected given the treatment and facility structure.

The outdoor spa garden is positioned as a quieter add-on, with birdsong and the option of a glass of Taittinger champagne rather than treatments. Spa day packages bundle pool and facility time with a treatment and sometimes a drink, pitched as a few hours away rather than a quick visit. Pricing sits in the moderate tier for the area, and the overall setup leans toward a slower, treatment-centred visit rather than a budget swim-and-sauna stop.
