The Spa at Encore Boston Harbor

The Spa at Encore Boston Harbor sits on the third floor of the casino resort in Everett, a 19,000-square-foot space with separate ladies' and gentlemen's heat and water areas, a relaxation lounge, steam room, sauna and fitness center. It's an adults-only facility (18+), built around massages, facials and body treatments rather than drop-in bathing.

There's no standalone day pass here; the heat and water facilities (sauna, steam room, relaxation lounge) are included only for guests who've booked a spa service, and access to them is limited to one hour before that treatment. The signature draw is the Yon-Ka Paris Vitamin C25 Facial, a 60-minute brightening and anti-aging treatment starting at $280. Couples treatments are offered for those booking together.

Reservations are recommended, though walk-ins are accepted based on availability. Arrive 45 minutes early for massage, facial or body treatment appointments to shower and use the heat and water facilities beforehand; nail, barber and makeup services at the adjoining salon only require a five-minute buffer. A bathing suit is required in the heat and water areas, and robes and slippers are provided.

Parking is free either way, self-park or valet, with the Resort South or Resort East entrances closest to the hotel elevators up to the spa floor. The spa is open daily from 10 a.m., closing at 6 p.m. Sunday through Friday and 7 p.m. on Saturdays. Cancellation policy is strict: changes inside 24 hours incur a 50% charge, and under six hours or no-shows are billed in full.
