Anantara Spa at Anantara Chiang Mai

Anantara Spa sits inside the Anantara Chiang Mai Resort on Charoen Prathet Road, a hotel spa built for both quick visits and longer wellness stays. The layout includes four individual treatment rooms, each with its own steam shower and terrazzo tub, plus four couples' treatment rooms equipped with herbal steam, an aromatic sauna and a terrazzo tub. A relaxation lounge looks out over the riverfront pool, giving guests somewhere to unwind before or after a session.

The menu leans into Lanna healing traditions. The signature Lanna Ritual pairs a full-body plai oil massage drawing on Thai, Burmese and Chinese techniques with a pressure-point facial, finishing with a singing bowl, holy water and a gold bodhi leaf for a wish. Other standard options include the Anantara Signature Massage, which blends Eastern and Western bodywork with reflexology, and a signature facial using snow lotus cream and hyaluronic acid. Tok Sen, a Lanna therapy using a wooden hammer and wedge after an oil massage, is also on offer, rounding out a roster of traditional treatments alongside more modern additions.

Beyond massage and facials, the spa houses VIVID by Verita Health, an IV drip bar and aesthetics clinic staffed by clinicians, plus a hair salon and nail salon. There are also private workshops covering tok sen therapy, office syndrome relief, IV drip therapy, hand reflexology and facial gua sha, which suit visitors wanting something more hands-on than a standard treatment. The spa operates daily from 10am to 10pm.
