USVA Spa sits right on Mannerheimintie in the Kaivopiha complex, a short walk from Helsinki's main rail station. The standard day pass costs €39 and covers two hours of combined day spa and gym use, with walk-ins welcome alongside bookings.

Five treatments are listed on top of the basic pass, so there's room to add a massage or similar service to the sauna session if time allows. The spa also runs group programs — team days, client events, wild herb tours in Finnish nature — aimed at companies and private groups rather than solo visitors, though solo access is clearly available too.

Access has some structure to it. The minimum age is 16 during staffed opening hours, with separate children's sauna hours set early morning and late evening instead. The gym portion runs 24/7 but only for Usva Wellness Club members and hotel guests, so a one-off day pass buyer should confirm whether gym access extends beyond the two-hour window. Staff operate in both Finnish and English.

Opening hours shift through the week: shorter Monday to Wednesday (10:00–18:00), extended Thursday to Saturday (10:00–20:00), and a later, shorter Sunday slot (12:00–18:00). Gift cards are sold and can be put toward treatments, wellness mentor sessions, products, or gym memberships, which is worth knowing if this is a present rather than a personal visit.
