Higashi-Dogo Sora to Mori Onsen sits in Minamikumemachi, a short walk from Iyotetsu Kume Station and about 30 minutes from the Dogo Onsen district in Matsuyama. It's a hybrid property — 30 guest rooms each come with their own open-air hot-spring bath, but day visitors are equally welcome for a few hours of soaking, sauna time, or a meal.

The spring water here runs alkaline at pH 9.2, locally promoted for its skin-softening effect, and feeds both the public baths and the rock-bath area. The men's sauna was renovated in 2025 into what the property calls LUMO Sauna, built around a combination of music, scent and lighting design.

Two styles of private family bath are available for couples or parents with young children who want a soak away from the main bathhouse; these open for booking one week before the date you want. After bathing, body-care treatments — massage, aromatherapy, Thai-style bodywork, cavitation — are offered on-site, alongside a restaurant and, on request, outdoor barbecue service for groups.

Doors open at 5am and stay open until 1am (last entry at midnight), seven days a week. Day-pass admission for adults runs ¥1,350–¥1,750 depending on membership status, plus a ¥150 bathing tax; children's and locker pricing is separate, and rock-bath use adds ¥300 for a dedicated towel. Parking is free with 250 spaces, though the lot nearest the entrance is reserved for overnight guests.
