Lapis Spa

Lapis Spa sits inside the Fontainebleau on Mid-Beach's Collins Avenue, built around a co-ed hydrotherapy circuit, mineral pools and a eucalyptus-infused steam room. It's a facilities-plus-treatment setup rather than a drop-in pool day: access requires booking a treatment, and the spa is restricted to Fontainebleau hotel guests, with no day passes and no walk-ins. Guests must be 18 or older.

The treatment menu is short but covers the basics well, built around three signature options: a revitalizing Swedish massage, a MediSpa restorative facial that layers hydradermabrasion, oxygen infusion and microcurrent into one session, and the Bleau Paradise Ritual for Two, a couples experience in a private oceanfront suite pairing an aromatherapy hydro soak with an extended massage, paraffin foot treatment and scalp massage. Couples treatments are a focus here, and the spa also offers IV nutrient therapy through a separate NutriDrip lounge, bookable by phone or email.

Practical details matter at this price point. A 50-minute service or package is the minimum to unlock the spa facilities; hotel guests without an appointment can pay an additional fee to use them. Robes, slippers, lockers and toiletries are provided, along with light snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, but phones, cameras and photography are banned throughout. Bathing suits are required for the water circuit, and anyone heading to the Immersion Mineral Jet Bath or mineral pools should shower first. Arrive 30 minutes early for a standard treatment, or a full hour ahead if doing the Lapis Ritual Water Journey, since late arrivals get a shortened session at full price. Preferred parking runs $15 for up to five hours, and the spa is open daily from 9:30am to 6pm.
