Niramaya Day Spa

Niramaya Day Spa sits in Port Douglas and runs as a standard day spa: book a treatment, work through a thermal circuit, go home relaxed. The facilities cover the usual bases for a circuit visit — sauna, steam room, thermal pools and a cold plunge — alongside a treatment menu organized into body packages, facials and massages.

Bookings are done online for signature treatments, with a dropdown system for choosing date, category and specific treatment. Couples treatments and group bookings exist but aren't set up for online booking; those require a direct call or email to the spa team, who can also adapt many of the standard treatments for two people or a group.

The spa operates Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and is closed Sundays. Pricing sits in the moderate range for the region, though specific treatment prices aren't listed here — check the online booking system or call for current rates.

One practical note worth flagging before booking: cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, or the full treatment cost applies as a cancellation fee. Late arrivals may also mean a shortened session rather than a delayed one, since the full fee still applies regardless. A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays. Gift voucher holders need to book directly with the spa rather than through the online system.

For anyone staying in or visiting Port Douglas who wants a few hours of sauna-steam-plunge circuit time paired with a massage or facial, this fits that brief. The couples option and flexible group adaptation make it workable for a pair or small group outing, provided arrangements are made by phone or email ahead of time rather than through the online booking tool.
