Sauna SaunApolo 56 Club Lisboa

SaunApolo 56 is a clothing-optional bathhouse and cruising venue in the Arroios area of Lisbon, open daily including weekends and holidays. It was founded on 22 February 2011 by Kiki Pais de Sousa and was built from the start to welcome men, women, transgender visitors and couples of any sexual orientation, at a time when some other Lisbon saunas restricted entry for women and trans people.

The space combines standard spa facilities with explicit cruising infrastructure. There's a pool and jacuzzi with a small waterfall, a Turkish steam bath, a dry sauna, and therapeutic cascade showers. Beyond that, the layout includes glory holes, a sling playground, a porn/XXX cinema room, collective showers, and private cabins fitted with TV and air conditioning. A massage room, snack bar and climate-controlled, filtered air round out the amenities.

Day passes are available and walk-ins are accepted, so no membership is required to enter. The venue also hosts themed parties — mixed striptease nights, masked and fetish events — and can be booked privately for shoots, parties or stag-type events, with a photographer available by prior arrangement. Couples' treatments are offered alongside the general facilities.

Hours run long into the night: open from midday to 2am on Mondays through Wednesday and Sunday, and from midday or early afternoon to 3am Thursday through Saturday. Given the adult, sex-positive nature of the space and its limited capacity, it suits visitors who already know what a liberal sauna involves rather than those looking for a conventional day spa.
