TIL Spa

TIL Spa sits inside the Castanheiro Boutique Hotel in Funchal's São Martinho area, built around a small but complete wet-and-treatment circuit: an indoor pool with a hydrotherapy circuit, sauna, Turkish bath and a relaxation lounge. There are four treatment cabins in total, two set up for couples, so this is a spa designed as much for pairs as for solo visits.

The treatment menu leans into Madeira's own landscape — Laurissilva forest aromas, volcanic basalt stones, organic Voya seaweed wraps and facials, and ocean-themed elements run through most of the eight treatments on offer. The signature is the 90-minute TIL Luxury, combining laurel forest, volcanic stone and sea themes, priced at €145 solo or €275 for couples. Other options include deluxe facials, a pregnancy-focused treatment, a menopause-specific ritual, a sleep-focused Mindfull Dreams massage, and a romantic couples massage called Jasmim Sensations.

This isn't a drop-in spa — there's no day-pass product and no walk-in access, so everything runs through reservation, made by phone or email ahead of a visit. It's open daily from 10:00 to 19:00, with service in Portuguese. It's not restricted to hotel guests or to adults only, so families and outside visitors booking treatments are accommodated alongside guests staying at the hotel.
