Senspa sits inside the Presidio, San Francisco's national park district, and has operated there for more than 20 years. The spa runs on a team of massage therapists, estheticians and acupuncturists, with nine treatments on the menu split across relaxation, muscle-fatigue and long-term structural work.

The standout offering is the Ammortal Chamber, a guided session that layers red light therapy, vibroacoustics, PEMF, molecular hydrogen and meditation/breathwork into one experience. It's positioned as the newest addition to the lineup and is currently offered with a complimentary 15-minute add-on for new clients trying any treatment.

Best-sellers include deep tissue and Swedish massage, a prenatal massage designed for expecting clients, lymphatic drainage work, a calming facial for sensitive skin, and a HydraFacial using vortex-fusion technology to cleanse and hydrate. Couples treatments are available alongside individual sessions.

Walk-ins are welcome, and on-site parking makes it workable for a drive-up visit without advance planning. Hours run 9am to 8pm Friday through Monday, and 10am to 7pm Tuesday through Thursday. Pricing falls in the moderate tier, and packages of 4, 6 or 10 treatments are available at a 10% discount for clients who want to commit to a regular rhythm. Gift certificates are sold in any amount, delivered digitally or by hand.
