Spa Viata

Spa Viata is the spa at Hotel Viata, set on a hilltop in West Lake Hills just outside Austin. The focus is on massages, facials and body treatments, run by trained therapists in a building separate from the main hotel. A private spa suite is available for couples or small groups, which seems aimed at anniversaries, friend outings or team days.

Booking a treatment includes access to the rest of the amenities: sauna, steam room, showers, a relaxation lounge, and the hotel's pool, whirlpool and fitness center. A day pass is also sold separately for anyone who just wants the facilities without a treatment. There's a poolside cabana setup, and a spa dining menu covers flatbreads, sandwiches, salads and grain bowls for guests who want to stay and eat after their service.

First-time guests get 20% off a treatment Monday through Thursday, and there's a late-afternoon offer (4–7pm) of 15% off treatments plus a glass of prosecco, along with a 20-minute Express Facial or Focus Massage option for anyone short on time. The spa also carries skincare lines like Yon-Ka Paris, Thistle Farms and Farmhouse Fresh in its retail boutique.

Practical notes: parking is complimentary valet, payments are cashless and contactless only, and the minimum age is 17, so this isn't set up for young kids despite being in a group- and family-friendly hotel. Walk-ins aren't accepted, so a reservation is needed either for a treatment or the day pass.
