The Salt Spa of Asheville & Himalayan Salt Cave Sanctuary is a small day spa on Hendersonville Road organized around two treatment spaces: a Himalayan Salt Cave where guests breathe salt-infused air, and a separate Wellness Healing Arts Salt Room without salt air. Only one party is served per space at a time, and private sessions can accommodate up to nine people, making it a option for couples or small groups rather than solo walk-ins.

The menu runs five treatments, with couples treatments offered alongside massage, salt therapy and energy work. The signature offering is Reiki Energy Balancing, priced at $400, a session aimed at aligning the chakras and may or may not involve physical touch. A separate listed package, a 90-minute Salt Cave experience for two combining meditative aromatherapy massage with frequency therapy on a Platinum Mat, is noted as contraindicated for anyone with metal implants, a pacemaker, or who is pregnant.

There is no day pass and no walk-in access; every visit runs by appointment, booked by phone or through the spa's website. The spa operates Wednesday through Sunday, open 10am to 4pm most days and closing at 3pm on Sunday, and stays closed Monday and Tuesday. The business also runs occasional public events, including sound baths, which operate on a different, scheduled basis from the private salt cave sessions.
