The Spa & Salon at East Wind is a day spa and full-service hair salon inside the East Wind resort in Baiting Hollow, on Long Island's North Fork. The 10,000-square-foot facility includes treatment rooms, spacious couple's suites, separate men's and women's saunas and steam rooms, locker rooms, rain showers and a relaxation lounge. The adjoining salon handles cuts, color, blowouts and keratin treatments, alongside hair and makeup services for events.

Treatments and packages cover massages, facials and body work, with options built for couples, groups of friends and bridal parties. Couples treatments are a specific draw here, given the dedicated suites. Robes are required in the relaxation lounge, and outside food or drinks aren't allowed inside the spa.

Booking ahead is the standard route, though walk-ins are accepted when space allows. Appointments go through the main phone line. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice or the full service charge applies to the card on file. Credit card payments carry a 3.5% surcharge, which cash transactions skip, and weekend facials, body treatments and massages add a $20 surcharge. Hours run longer on weekends and shorter on Mondays, so it's worth checking the specific day before planning a visit.
