Vihara Sanctuary is a day spa tucked into a tropical garden in Lamai, opposite Punch It Gym, inside the Spa Garden Resort. The core setup is simple: a Finnish sauna held at 80°C, a herbal steam room beside it, and an ice bath topped up with fresh ice through the day. A day pass costs 380 THB and covers unlimited use of all three, plus towel, locker and shower access, with no booking required.
For longer stays or regular visits, there are multi-visit passes: an Island pass (5 visits in 14 days, 1,500 THB), a Sanctuary pass (10 visits in 3 months, 2,280 THB, guests welcome with the holder) and a Vihara pass (20 visits in 6 months, 4,000 THB, also allowing guests). Children under 12 visit free with an adult.
Massage is treated as its own draw rather than an add-on to the spa pass. Thai massage, Thai oil massage, deep tissue, foot massage and head-and-shoulder treatments are bookable on their own, no spa entry needed, done solo, as a couple, or in a group of up to four side by side in an open-air sala. Prices run from 300 THB for a 30-minute head-and-shoulder massage up to 650 THB for an hour of deep tissue.
Deffi's Café sits in the same garden, serving smoothie bowls, poke bowls, wraps, specialty coffee and cacao, and it's open to anyone, even without a spa pass. The whole site runs on a walk-in model: open 11am to 9pm daily except Tuesdays, staff speak English and Thai, and parking is available opposite Punch It Gym.
