KOS Sauna is a public floating sauna anchored on Saratoga Lake in Saratoga Springs, New York, built in the Nordic fjord-sauna tradition. The main structure holds up to 15 people and comes with a roof terrace, changing rooms, a lake plunge for cooling off, and drinking water drawn from Saratoga's mineral springs.

Most visitors book a 90-minute social sauna session, which runs $30 for non-members and $20 for members and mixes solo travelers, couples and small groups in the same heat. Private group sessions for up to 15 people cost $450 ($350 for members), and there's an option to pair a session with a meal at a nearby restaurant for team outings or special events.

A personal membership runs $99 a year and includes discounted sessions, monthly members-only events, two guest passes a month, and the option to add a $75/month unlimited pass. An organizational membership ($499/year) is aimed at companies doing team-building. Five-session punch passes ($125) and gift cards are also sold, useful for repeat visitors who don't want a full membership.

Bring two towels — one to sit on, one to dry off with — plus water shoes or flip-flops and a refillable water bottle. The sauna operates year-round, with hours varying by day: closed Mondays, a shorter evening window on Tuesdays, and longer daytime-to-evening hours the rest of the week.
