Spa Imperial sits inside the Hôtel du Palais, the 5-star hotel on Avenue de l'Impératrice that began life in 1854 as an imperial residence for Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie. The spa itself spans close to 2,500 square metres facing the Atlantic, built around a freshwater pool with counter-current swimming, a swan-neck water feature, a whirlpool bath, a solarium, a sauna and a hammam. A separate California-style pool draws its water directly from the ocean and connects to cabañas and a sun-exposed solarium with direct beach access.

Treatments come from two houses: body and face care by Guerlain, hair treatments by Leonor Greyl. The listed signature treatment is the Modelage Relaxant Impérial, a 45-minute Guerlain massage also sold as part of a hotel wellness package that bundles breakfast and the treatment together. The top floor of the spa building houses a fitness centre with Technogym equipment positioned in front of ocean-facing windows, plus occasional aquatic activity sessions run by on-site coaches.

The spa operates daily. Pool, sauna and hammam access runs from 8am to 8pm; treatment cabins run shorter hours, from 10am to 7pm. During school holidays a children's club operates alongside the adult facilities. Access is restricted to hotel guests, so a day pass for outside visitors is not part of the setup here — this is an amenity built into a stay rather than a stand-alone spa day.
