T Spa - Grand Hotel Tremezzo

T Spa occupies Villa Emilia, an 18th-century building that once served as the library of Villa Carlotta, keeping its original floor mosaics and frescoes. It sits on the grounds of Grand Hotel Tremezzo on Lake Como and is reserved for hotel guests, with no day-pass access.

The centerpiece is an infinity pool whose edge appears to merge with the lake, paired with a whirlpool and doors that open fully in warm weather. A heat-and-water circuit includes a Mediterranean bath, steam room, sauna with lake views, cool showers and an ice fountain. An Italian hammam clad in white Lasa marble adds a heated marble plinth, blade showers, a couples' bath and a private steam room.

For private time, the spa offers a dedicated suite with its own whirlpool tub, sauna, steam bath and relaxation zone, suited to couples, friends or family pairs. Treatments cover massage, body rituals and customized facials using Santa Maria Novella skincare, alongside hair, make-up and nail services. A separate three-floor fitness space, La Malpensata, handles cardio, yoga, movement and strength training, also with lake views.

The spa is adults only; children are not admitted even when accompanied by a parent. It's open daily from 9am to 8pm. Given the hotel-guest-only access and luxury price tier, this is a spa built around an overnight stay rather than a standalone visit.
